Loved the experience of walking around with so many free flying birds. I even got to hold and play with a young macaw. I would highly recommend every bird lover to visit this place at least once. One handy tip is to go early, before the birds get fed so that come to you more.

Very impressive. The birds were free and we even got to talk to some of them since they were sitting on our shoulders.

Bird lovers... You don't need to wait to kick the bucket to go to heaven... Just come here. So many birds flying freely and forraging around your feet for the seeds ($2 per bag. I recommend 2 bags per person). Hand feed them - many will fly onto you and eat what you have to offer.

Birds are all in great health and with plenty of room to fly around and interact.

Amazing aviary experience for adults and kids. Very friendly and informative staff. We got there about an hour after opening time and were the first visitors, it meant the birds were hungry and we got flocked as soon as we walked in the gate. Our kids loved feeding the huge variety of birds, they also have a separate section with kangaroos, Emus, geese, goats, a swan and a Brolga. A brilliant place to visit with the family and they're doing great work with the birds.

Beautiful clean and tidy aviaries. Birds looking healthy and loved. Sanctuary is for sale, I wish I could buy it, but I do hope it goes to a bird loving person not development.
